The LMP Graduate Conference (LMP-GC) is an academic event addressed to graduate students, PhD candidates and junior postdocs working in the fields of legal theory, moral philosophy and political philosophy. The LMP-GC is a full-day event at which young scholars will be able to share their research, receive feedback from their peers and establish new contacts in the academic world.
We also have the pleasure to announce two keynote sessions conducted by two leading scholars in Legal Theory and Political Philosophy, Dr. Verónica Rodríguez-Blanco (senior lecturer at Birmingham University Law School) and Prof. Serena Olsaretti (ICREA Research Professor at UPF).
An award fot the best paper will be given at the end of the conference. This award is named after the later Albert Calsamiglia, a legal philosopher and one of the founders of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
Registration for attending the LMPGC is mandatory. However, there is no registration fee. Registered participants will receive a welcome pack and a statement of attendance. Additionally, morning and afternoon refreshments, as well as lunch, will be provided by the organisation at no additional cost to all registered participants.
It is possible to register from 11th May 2015 until 6th September 2015. Cancellation of the registration will be possible until 10th September 2015.
As an additional activity, a Workshop on Academic Publishing will be held the evening of 22nd September. This workshop will be conducted by Andrew Williams and Verónica Rodríguez-Blanco and will be focused on legal theory and political philosophy publishing tips.
